WSU’s Commitment to Degree Completion
WSU is committed to helping Cougs complete their journey to degree, and we know that there are many factors that can make this challenging. We are so excited to announce the The Cougar Completion Grant, which aims to reduce financial barriers for both currently enrolled and previously enrolled students by providing financial support for those nearing completion of their first bachelor’s degree.
This is a one-time grant of up to $2500* depending on student need and available funding.
- *Some exceptions may apply.
What are Completion Grants?
Many public universities are now offering completion grants to make sure students with unmet financial need and a successful academic record do not drop out due to financial constraints. In 2018, the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities (APLU) shared lessons about completion grant programs in a learning brief.
